UMass Pass FAQ

Q: Why am I not seeing my points?

Behind the scenes at UMass Pass we are hard at work building a bigger, better, more dynamic RewardU! program for the students at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. As part of this build, we've had to disable the points-based view you are used to seeing. Don't worry- your points are still accumulating, even though you currently cannot see them. But don't fret- while we are tinkering, you can still claim a prize! Simply email students@offcampusadvantage.com and we will update your points for you. You can still claim a prize just like always. Visit the prize page for more details. Thanks for your patience! We look forward to unveiling the new improved site in the coming months.

Q. What is the difference between the Food Account, Snack Allowance and UMDollars?

A. The Food Account can be used at all the main campus' Dining Services locations, such as the Commons at Birch (including WebFood), Underground Cafe, Sky Ranch Grill, and Jazzman's Cafe.

Your Snack Allowance is the term used for the funds you have automatically applied to your account when you sign up for a Meal Plan.

Your UMass Pass comes with a stored-value account called UMDollars. UMDollars is the convenient, cashless way to pay for your purchases on and off campus. To use it, simply deposit money into your UMDollars account and the balance will decline with each purchase you make.

Use it to eat at your favorite on campus dining locations, order food online with WebFood, work out in the Athletic Center, pay for library fees and health services. UMDollars are also readily accepted at some of North Dartmouth's most popular off-campus businesses (some even offer discounts to students who pay with their UMDollars.

Q. How can I add UM Dollars? How often can I add funds?

A. There are three ways to add UM Dollars to your store-value account on the UMass Pass. Funds can be added at any time during the school year. To deposit online, visit www.umassd.edu/umasspass. (Online depositing page requires an additional username and password)
